Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium of Fort Myers, Florida, has a single mission to “connect people with nature.” With the help of an incredible group of service-learning students from Florida Gulf Coast University, Nature’s Six, we were able to put together educational materials, a four-foot display, cartoon coloring pages for children, and this one-minute promotional video.

The Happehatchee Center in Estero, Florida, is a sanctuary for peace and healing offering environmental and healing arts education and Yoga. Altitude Hair Salon is a trendy hair salon in Wheat Ridge (near Denver, CO). Their expert services include cuts, rich color, highlights, perms, and facial hair removal. We had the chance to help with graphic design, appointment cards, postcards, and website design early in this salon’s start-up. Altitude Hair Salon is on Denver’s A-List, and named one of the “Top Five Best Hair Salon & Hair Color” in the area.

The 18th annual “Dr. Talbot Spivak Holocaust Memorial Week” at Edison State College (now Florida SouthWestern State College) educates students and the community about the Holocaust, honors its victims and survivors, and promotes awareness of modern-day genocide. Each year, the college holds a poster contest for cash prizes; I was honored to have my poster design chosen to win the contest. I was even more honored to attend the round-table event and hear the stories, in-person, of many Holocaust survivors.

They were trusted to repair the most expensive cars in the Fort Myers and Naples areas with technicians so skilled, they traveled the world training others how to correctly make micro paint repairs. April had the opportunity to design the AutoXperience logo, take photography of their product lines and demonstrations, as well as design and print custom graphics for presentations, banners, ads, flyers, and brochures.

Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium of Fort Myers, Florida, has a single mission to “connect people with nature.” With the help of an incredible group of service-learning students from Florida Gulf Coast University, Nature’s Six, we were able to put together educational materials, a four-foot display, cartoon coloring pages for children, and this one-minute promotional video.

The Happehatchee Center in Estero, Florida, is a sanctuary for peace and healing offering environmental and healing arts education and Yoga. We certainly enjoy spending time at Happehatchee canoeing the river, visiting the plant nursery and butterfly garden, and walking the nature trails.
